At 336 pages, Volume 8 is the biggest book so far of The Striker Collection. It features the stories from the first 28 of the 87 weekly comics published between 2003 and 2005. The remaining comics will be covered in Volumes 9 and 10.

As usual, there's a foreword by Striker creator Pete Nash, who recalls how the comic was almost killed at birth by a series of crippling events.
